Terms of Service for Screenshots.Guru
Last updated: September 13, 2026
These terms govern your use of Screenshots.Guru at https://screenshots.guru (the “Service”). “We” and “us” mean Screenshots.Guru, the operator of the Service. You can reach us at contact@screenshots.guru. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.
1. What the Service does
Screenshots.Guru is a browser-based editor that turns a screenshot into a styled image: a background, a device or window frame, a shadow, rounded corners, a caption, and an export at up to twice the original resolution.
The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption, that it will be free of defects, or that it will produce a particular result.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for the security of the Google account you use and for everything done through your account. You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live, and the Service is not directed at children.
3. Who owns what
- Your images stay yours. You keep every right you had in the screenshots you edit and in the images you export, and we claim no license over them. Exports from the free try carry a small “Made with Screenshots.Guru” watermark; exports on a paid plan carry none. Apart from that watermark, we do not use your images to promote the Service.
- The Service stays ours. The site, its code, its design, its background library and its name remain our property. Nothing here transfers them to you.
- You are responsible for what you upload. Do not use the Service for material you have no right to use, or for anything unlawful.
4. Plans and payment
All plans unlock the same full editor. They differ only in how you pay:
- Monthly — $9.99 billed monthly
- Lifetime — $99.99 one-time payment
- Yearly — $49.99 billed yearly
Purchases are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record for every order. That means your contract of sale for the payment itself is with Paddle: Paddle takes the payment, handles the applicable sales tax or VAT, issues the receipt, and appears on your bank statement. Paddle’s own terms apply to that transaction in addition to these.
Lifetime is a single payment for access to the full editor on your account, including the updates we release, for as long as we operate the Service. It does not renew, so there is nothing to cancel.
We never receive or store your card details. Monthly and Yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time from your account; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
5. Refunds
You can ask for a refund within 14 days of any payment — a first purchase, a renewal or a Lifetime purchase — by writing to contact@screenshots.guru, or by contacting Paddle directly using the details on your receipt.
Because Paddle is the merchant of record, refunds are issued by Paddle and Paddle’s refund policy governs how they are processed. Where the law where you live gives you a stronger right to cancel or be refunded, that right applies and nothing here limits it.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, resell access to it, or use it to produce material that is unlawful, deceptive, or infringing. We may suspend or close an account that does.
7. Changes to the Service and terms
We may change the Service, and we may update these terms. When a change materially affects your rights we will show it on this page with a new “last updated” date before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for lost or corrupted data, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, and disputes are subject to the courts of Ukraine. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, or of your right to bring proceedings there.
10. Contact
